2023 Heroes’ Gala is a wrap!

170745 The 2023 Assist the Officer Heroes’ Gala held March 25, 2023, at The Ballroom at Bayou Place was a night filled with excitement and surprises!

The audience with entertained with a lip sync battle between Doug Griffith representing the HPOU, Brandon Love from AAPOL, and Houston Fire Chief Sam Pena.  Chief Pena took the win with his rendition of “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks.

Another highlight of the evening were the giveaways!  Guests loved their 30^th Anniversary ATO tumblers, but a few lucky guests also won replica HPD police cars, a free stay at the Golden Nugget, and tickets to the 2024 Heroes’ Gala.
