2nd Spiritual Prayer Rally, July 6, 2023

The Houston Police Officers’ Union (HPOU) will partner with 89.3 KSBJ radio station for its second Spiritual Prayer Rally. The rally will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 11am to 3pm at the HPOU building.  All officers’ desiring prayer is welcome to come. I personally would like to encourage you to come out to pray together for one another.

Last year, officers were given the invitation and they accepted the call! Officers came out in great numbers throughout the day. According to remarks and personal testimonies officers shared, the prayer rally was proven to be a great success.

Numerous officers expressed a special thanks for HPOU’s vision to see the need for an event such as this during these troubled times.  Others voiced they were truly blessed by the event, and they felt a true sense of connection standing in unity with their HPD brothers and sisters in prayer. Many officers communicated they agreed with HPOU that with the stressors of increase homicides and tragic incidents in the City of Houston, that it is imperative, and no better time, than now for us to come together to empower each other through prayer for spiritual intervention. It is important to renew and revive each other as we continue to serve and protect our community. They further shared we cannot stop now, and we must remain in the fight through the power of prayer.  HPOU and KSBJ must continue the prayer rally to inspire and encourage other officers, community leaders, and law enforcement agencies to join in prayer. Please come out and join us at this great event!
