Yet another Houston area business has found a way to show support for HPD officers and Assist the Officer.
Kendra Scott, which has a number of locations throughout the Bayou City (and many other Texas locations), has become noteworthy for supporting favorite causes. Now ATO has risen to the top of the list.
The company has made ATO a key part of its “give back” program, an online operation that has a quick and easy way of making purchases that help the long-time organization that helps injured or seriously ill HPD officers and their families.
On Aug. 15 and 16 – a 48-hour period – the company specializing in its own jewelry designs will donate 20 percent of every purchase in which the buyer has designated ATO as the special recipient.
Here’s how it works:
When you make a purchase online at kendrascott.com, you should enter the following code: GIVEBACK-AFFWR
Entry of that code along with the details of your purchase will produce 20 percent of the purchase price to Assist the Officer.
“This is one more great fundraising opportunity for Assist the Officer,” ATO’s Tom Hayes, 3rd vice president of the Houston Police Officers Union, said. “We urge all HPOU members, their families and friends to remember us when they go shopping at Kendra Scott on Aug. 15 and 16.”
