ATO Badges & Bogeys Golf Tournament Recap

Assist the Officer (ATO) held its Badges and Bogeys Golf Tournament on October 12, 2023, at the Pasadena Municipal Golf Course. The weather was perfect for a golf scramble and was coupled with free beer and cider donated by Buffalo Bayou Brewery and Austin Eastciders. Golfers began with a shotgun start, received swag bags, breakfast tacos, and fajitas with all the fixings for lunch. Golfers were able to purchase mulligans to help increase the competition and money raising amongst the teams, after all it is for a great cause! There were also several raffle items including two guns, and donated sports memorabilia from Alan Helfman.  Several awards were given – top ranked teams, hole in one, closest to the pin, longest drive, and even best dressed. If you missed this event, you would unquestionably want to be a part of this event next year! Please enjoy the photos from this event here: https://imagesbyhicks.zenfolio.com/p950909189

A special thank you to the sponsors of the golf tournament. The tournament would not have been a success without your generous contributions. Special thank you to the HPOU cook team for cooking lunch and to the HPOU board members who helped throughout the day from getting golfers registered to serving lunch.

Many of these sponsors not only donated money to the event but also participated and brought teams to compete. It was great to get to know these sponsors throughout the day and enjoy some friendly competition.

ATO was able to raise money to continue to provide immediate, financial assistance to officers who are facing critical need due to serious on duty injury, life-threatening illness, or other catastrophic event and we thank you all for the ability to continue this mission.
