Gryder Tournament set for March 5, to feature heroes’ sons and daughters

The first pitch of the annual Gary Gryder Memorial Softball Tournament will come right down the strike zone over the plate on South Main at 9 a.m. Friday, March 5.

Besides Officer Gryder, others in attendance will be Tyler Martin, son of Officer Richard Martin (EOW: May 18, 2015), Andrew and Carlos Vasquez, sons of Officer Alberto Vasquez (EOW: May 22, 2001), Henry Canales Jr., son of Officer Henry Canales (EOW: June 23, 2009) and Cooper and Eliza Knox, son and daughter of Officer Jason Knox (EOW: May 2, 2020).
