It’s time to pick up an ATO Pink Patch Cap in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness

Following an HPD tradition, the department’s Pink Patch Caps are now on sale at the front desk of the Houston Police Officers’ Union at 1600 State Street.

According to the policy established by Police Chief Troy Finner, all officers may wear these caps with their uniforms throughout the month of October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The caps cost $10 apiece. They are always a big hit with officers, who are urged to stop by the Union office to purchase a cap and support a very worthy cause. Breast cancer is the leader in deaths of women caused by cancer. HPOU accepts cash or credit card.

All net proceeds go to Assist the Officer.
