The HPD Northeast Fall Festival was a rousing success, attracting 1,500 people of all ages from the community served by this station. The event took place on Friday, Oct. 29 and lasted from the late afternoon into the early evening.
Event coordinators Krystal Hodge and blab Lance Calloway presented a wide array of HPD attractions for all who attended to enjoy. Those great attractions – which are ready 24/7 to serve this community and all of Houston – were HPD K9, SWAT, the Dive Team and Fox.
“This event would not have been possible without our community partners through which everything was donated for the event,” SPO Hodge said. “We had a bounce house, inflatable slide, inflatable basketball, football and soccer, other games.
“There also were prizes, a Home Depot kid-builder workshop, the Chick-fil-A cow to take photos, large and small photo props, hotdogs, popcorn, sno cones and tons of candy.
“We had trunk or treat vehicles and a great performance by the BC Elmore Elementary band.”
Hodge and Officer Calloway are members of the Northeast DRT/Community Service Unit. They took great pains to list each one of the community partners who donated everything. And they are:
