Rodeo adoption campaign

A big thank you to Senior Police Officer Greg Green from the Houston Police Officers’ Union and Houston Fire Department Firefighter Scott Viktorin for helping us spotlight Boot (A1805281) and Scoot (A1805280) for this week’s #PawstotheRescue feature! It was #GoTexanDay, so to highlight this fun Houston tradition and recognize our first responders who keep us safe during RODEOHOUSTON season, we snapped today’s puppy pics in front of the new Rodeo-themed mural on the downtown One Market Square Garage! Both Officer Green and Firefighter Viktorin are pet owners and animal lovers, so they couldn’t wait to give these two babies some snuggles.

Also it’s the start of our Rodeo adoption campaign, and we’re offering $20 adoption fees for all dogs and puppies that are already fixed, like Boot and Scoot! Boogie on over to BARC’s adoption center at 3300 Carr St from noon – 5 p.m. to find your newest four-legged family member.
