Houston Police Officers’ Union Grant,

I am so extremely grateful and blessed to receive this grant.  Thank you so much for your generosity.  I will be going to San Jac to continue my education.  I couldn’t do this without your help and support.  I just want to thank you again for your generous gift.

Dear Mr. Joe Gamaldi, Board of Directors, and Members:

I am honored to be one of this year’s recipients of the Houston Police Officers’ Union Scholarship Awards.  Thanks to your generous support I will attend West Texas A&M University in the fall to pursue my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.  This scholarship money will enable me to learn the skills needed to follow my dream of working professionally in musical theatre performance.

With gratitude,

Lorna Lominac

Dear Houston Police Officers’ Union,

Thank you so much for the scholarship you awarded me.  I will use this money to buy supplies to get me set up for school.

Thank you again,

Thank you for the generous 2020 Houston Police Officers’ Union Scholarship.  I was very pleased and appreciative to learn that I was selected as the recipient of this scholarship.

During this COVID-19 Pandemic, I have learned a lot about myself and resilience.  As a student you look forward to the prom, graduation and celebrating with your fellow classmates.  Unfortunately, we missed a lot of these activities, but I realize these challenges we are facing will come to an end and I be a stronger person as a result.

By awarding me the 2020 Houston Police Officers’ Union Scholarship, this has reduced my portion of my financial burden which allows me to focus on my schoolwork at the University of Texas at Dallas.  My hope is that one day I’m able to give back and assist someone in the same way you are helping me.  Thank you very much for your generousity.
